💃 16/17. Costuming 💃

    

        Soooooooo for costuming we decided that I would wear a tank top or some sort of undershirt as I'm getting out of bed in the first few shots (it would be pretty weird and uncomfortable for me to pop out with just a bra, especially as a minor... 😃👍) We've decided that since the main character will be waking up in the morning from her deep sleep, her hair will have a classic "bed head" look to it and some casual pajamas. 

        Later on, we plan to have her wear some bulky jeans and a black hoodie on top of the black tank top that she already had on. As she's getting ready, she'll probably throw her hair into a very low-effort messy bun. Rebecca and I agreed that she wouldn't really have any jewelry since her whole character revolves around being a messy person, so she doesn't really have a lot of time to worry about her looks or seeming "put together". Once she's getting ready to leave the house, she'll slip on some dirty, scuffed black Converse, which again reinforces the idea that she's quite disorganized and could care less about how she is perceived.

        We don't plan on having other characters in our movie, but if we ever plan on including more people at some point, then I would imagine that everyone else around her would be dressed pretty professional or neatly in a school environment, and she would kind of be the black sheep in the crowd... and now that I'm writing this down it actually seems like a really cool idea so I'll bring it up to Rebecca the next time I see her.
