π’ 21. Challenges in Film π’

For the most part, I'd say that the biggest challenges in filming have been coordinating our schedules, the amount of time it takes up, and executing our ideas how we want.
Lately, Rebecca and I have been pretty busy since we have an upcoming SAT on March 1st, so we've spent a lot of time studying (or at least I have) and we obviously have a lot of homework from other classes. My grandmother recently passed away, so I've been pretty thrown off my tracks and haven't really been as focused. Honestly I feel like the weeks are just flying by and some days I just don't feel like filming, even if we had planned on it. Luckily, I'd say we're about 1/4 done with our project or something like that, and we have about a month to finish filming (if nothing else interferes with our shooting and stuff like that).
Filming is never an easy task, and I literally never realized this until Rebecca and I began filming, so it was a pretty big shock for me. Honestly, I dread the thought of spending multiple hours just reshooting the same scene over and over again, but I'm kind of a perfectionist (very stereotypical for Virgos like myself, but I don't know if I trust astrology that much anymore lol), so that also lengthens the process significantly.
Following into the whole perfectionist spiel, the editing has also taken up some significant time, and while Rebecca is mostly in charge of that portion, we both review the clips together and revise it carefully to make sure it's up to our standards. During filming, we often have to get into awkward positions and stay in some uncomfortable spots and repeat the same movements or clips, but I guess that's what makes it slightly fun, right? Anyway, I'd say all the "struggle" was worth it, because both Rebecca and I are super happy with the way everything came out (plus we won't have to reshoot the same scenes on another day and mess up Rebecca's room again so yay!!!!!!)
