🌝 29. Group Dynamics 🌚

 

        For the past (I think it's been) 3 months of planning, filming, and editing out project, it's been going quite smoothly! Unfortunately, we do still have some stuff to film, but I just hope that with some meticulous planning during the Spring Break, we'll have everything wrapped up. 

        To be 100% honest, the work dynamic between me and Rebecca has been unequal, but I SWEAR I didn't plan for that to happen. Basically, Rebecca and I have been the co-directors, but she's obviously been doing most of the filming since I'm the only actor in our film, while she's behind the camera. As you all should know by now, Rebecca's been in charge of all the aspects revolving around editing, since she has the free application of Premier Pro to edit our film opening and is a billion times more familiar with it than I am. Despite that, we both go over the clips and I give her some feedback as to what elements I love and what elements might need to be slightly altered or shortened to heighten the effect of what we want to portray. 

    Now, I've obviously asked Rebecca several times as to how I can lighten the workload for her and make this as equal as possible, even though she still will always have the larger task of editing. So as you guys have probably seen already, I was in charge of finding a suitable song to use for our film, and I landed on "Come See About Me" by The Supremes. I exported the clip of the song into an MP3 file and sent it to Rebecca so she could use it in the film and it ended up being a pretty perfect match. 

    Then again, if Rebecca ever needed me to lighten her work load (and if I somehow had Premier Pro) then I would help her out in an instant, but Rebecca enjoys editing and often does it in her free time or whenever she's bored!
